Guitars are just POD and bass is a pitchshifted clean guitar, but the main test for this one was the drums.

Finally digging the cymbals on this! Need to work on the toms a bit so they're not as muffled, methinks, but I don't think I can complain about the cymbals not sounding good for metal anymore!

I still think the cymbals are too unnaturally separated. Like they've all been close-miced. Doesn't sound quite right.

No point in posting a preset - I route everything out into Cubase and process it in there. the internal plugins for S2.0 are the biggest resource hogs I've ever used!

drum wise the only thing i can hear improvement on would be the bass drum compared to the original. Its not ass poofy sounding. The black dahlia cd has that separated cymbal sound so i think your good there

I just got S2.0 the other day (never used it before so pretty new to the WHOLE set up of it) and ive only got like the "Avatar Kit" or whatever, its allright but am I able to download other kits with out having to buy them? Like I am LOVING the sound of the kit you used!!! Are other people able to load up kits and I am able to download them and somehow put them in the right files and use them with S2.0?????

i hear in your track that drums sound synthetic. if you'll do this - they will sound natural. but will use more memory.

if you got any problems you can use lower values than 99 - but i got enough memory to use SD2 that way.
