Deathcore type mix (8505, S2.0)

Hey,
this is a rough mix of my friends and my deathcore project. It's my first serious mix.
For the guitars I used Nick Crow's 8505 and Voxengo Boogex with Catharsis's s-preshigh Impulses. I boosted the amp a litte bit with a TSS.
Bass consists of a shitty POD X3 preset and some processing. Anyway, our bassist will track the bass again as DIs.
Drums are S2.0 for cymbals and toms, Joey Sturgis Snare sample and the Kick is from the sample pack that Emdprodukt post here a while ago.
Oh and the Electro kinda kit at the end is Groove Agent One or what ever it is called.
I'm quite not pleased with the blastbeats and the lead tone.

Dude, great first mix! Welcome to the forum!

First thing that comes in mind: that snare is a fucking machine gun. It sound really fake in the blastbeatparts! Use multisamples for the snare and play with the velocity to make it more realistic.

I think the hi-hat is way to loud, it's very distracting ! And what chinese cymbal did you used ? Sounds awesome !
