im sad guys

I hope the final Pagan Altar album is released someday. They finished recording it and it was in the mixing stages when Terry passed away. I think he would want people to hear it.

I wouldn't hold your breath for it anytime soon. I was recently on their official forums (ok, that was several months ago) and there wasn't any mention of it coming out yet. I definitely hope it comes out as well. Over the past year I've come to realize just how truly amazing Mythical and Magical and especially Lords of Hypocrisy. The Masquerade might be their best song ever.

Yeah, I don't know the status of the album beyond what I posted earlier. I hope that they didn't just decide not to release it, especially since it was already recorded.

For me, "Satan's Henchmen" is their best song from the newer material.

If I'm remembering right the album was finished but the mix wasn't up to snuff according to the band.

I really hope they release it soon. I hope the remaining members of the band and Terry's family know how much it would mean to the fans and that honestly it could never disappoint us.

I was miserable the day he died and for a few afterward. To be honest I've probably never been so sad about someone I didn't personally know dying. But he DIED. His band didn't just break up.

Terry was kind of a huge part of the band and I totally understand not wanting to continue without him on vocals. I don't think I'd want Pagan Altar to continue without the Jones brothers.

Pagan Altar is a fake band so for all we know his son is legitimate and doesn't count.

Oops. Yeah, I totally knew that Terry and Al were father and son. I have no idea why I called them brothers. For the longest time I did think that they were brothers so maybe I had a small moment of confusion.

And yes I do have a Pagan Altar tattoo.

Prove that Pagan Altar existed in the 80s.

People have been bootlegging their original recordings since the 1980s, so they definitely existed back then.

The fact that Terry Jones is clearly much younger on The Time Lord and Volume 1 is more evidence.

Oh, they also have band photos of the band when they were much younger and Alan Jones was a teenager. That would automatically place them in the late 1970s to early 1980s.

I know you like shitposting, but this isn't just a shitpost. It's a shitty post.
