Pure Holocaust/Battles In The North = Quite possibly the best BM albums ever
I just have a thing for Immortal (no you fags) because they sorta defied the whole lame-ass anti-christian BM scene. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not a fan of Christianity or organized religion in general; but the whole anti-christ thing is so stupid. We're not in high school anymore guys.

At The Heart Of Winter is a must own album.
Sons Of Northern Darkness is great, but not my favorite Immortal album. Although Beyond The North Waves may be my favorite Immortal song.
Pure Holocaust and Battles In The North are essential. Very few bands sounded so harsh and epic at the same time.

At The Heart of Winter is the essential wintertime listening album. Whatever that means. It just means that cold or snow + that album = soundtrack of winter. Or something. You know what I mean.
