This is a great album.
Abbath shows such great gutiar work and has really proved his abilites as an excellent musician. With 6 tracks long and a cd length of about 48 minutes or so, it is a very good buy. I hope that in the future immortal is remembered as one of the great black metal bands.
Although bands like Emperor, Satyricon, and Mayhem deserve the most credit for shaping the black metal scene, I feel that immortal should be remembered too. I especially like the title track to the album with a very memorable tune that keeps you coming back for more.
Immortal may not be the best band I have seen in the past years, but this album is definetly worth owning.
