I just discovered this guitarist which has nothing to do with the cliche shredders like malmsteen and vai etc.
he has some amazing riffs that makes you want to smash your head through the wall.
Any other fans ?

I like a lot of his stuff, but I wouldn't exactly say he has nothing to do with Malmsteen... have you heard Stand In Line?

yeah, he shreds and all but his riffs are Metal.. he doesnt have an album full of solo's in every song with no vocals and with the same pattern solos over and over again if you know what I mean.

Impelliteri, and Paul Gilbert were in the control room of a studio one day where
Yngwie was tracking solo's for an album (around Odessey)
Impelliteri say's 'l can play EVERY Malmsteen solo FASTER than Yngwie'
to which GIlbert replied ' Yeah, but can you play anything original?'

This story used to sum Chris I. up.
Now-a-days l think he's moved on a bit and has more of his own style.
Not much more tho.
