REVIEW

IMPERANON are a melodic death metal band from Finland and for some reason which only God can tell me it sounds like a Timo Kotipelto album with death vocals! Aaargh, what the hell is this band doing? I cannot believe they are using his classical sounds and playing their crap over it?

This has to be the worst melodic death metal album ever to be released by Nuclear Blast records and they should be ashamed of themselves. This album is such a mess and the fact that the band are simply singing and playing by numbers is just so infuriating to listen to. There is no passion in this album and the instrumentation is as exciting as watching paint dry. This is absolute shit and I refuse to score it above zero.

You want my advice on the best underground melodic death metal band which is a yardstick for all to measure up to – NIGHTFALL – I am Jesus. Read the review on this site and learn.

Ha Ha! :) Honestly, this album is such a turd. :yuk: But I really do hope that if they release another album that they put more effort into it. As the saying goes, "The only way is up, from here.":)

Wow, a zero, that kicks ass. Are there more melodeth bands than basement black metal projects yet?

I think by default, all melodeath and metalcore albums should start getting zero scores. It's the only way to start getting the message across.

"I like this album, it's pretty cool. A little derivative, but it's been in my CD player for 2 weeks straight now so I must like it. Too bad it's melodeth.

"Wow, another melo-death band, what a surprise. Well by now this particular artform has matured to the point where new bands such as this are surpassing what was once laid down on classics like The Jester Race or The Gallery. Alas....

0/10"

By all means do something like that...it would make an interesting experiment to see whether most readers automatically pick up on the rating without paying attention to the body of the review, and post it on the band's forum and see how many get the joke.
