I love to see the 1st In Flames logo to come back again and it would fit their current sound.

I think they're old style of playing shuld come back as well. Make more records like Clayman.
Your name serves you well, clayman is when they started sucking.

Aww, come on, it wasn't that bad. It was the beginning of the slide, though.
Exactly, the begining of the suckage- only for the weak, and pinbal map.. those songs are so horrible.
only for the weak is just.. weak
pinball map has too much chuggage(verse) and electronics :Puke:

Fair call. Pinball Map's not a bad song, but it's not so great either. I believe it was the first song they played in dropped A# tuning, which I think most of (if not all of) Soundtrack To Your Escape was played almost entirely in this tuning more associated with nu metal instead of In Flames' traditional C tuning. Just one those warning signs to be found on that album, I suppose. Tuning that one string differently can give a guitar such a different voicing.

Only For The Weak I found very boring to begin with. In time it's grown on me and I don't mind it so much. It was kind of that way with the whole album. I got through to the end on my first listen and it was like 'is that it?', because I'd heard nothing but rave reviews about Clayman. Indeed I'd been told it was better than the two albums I'd heard at that point, which we Whoracle and The Jester Race...

Yes, I know...

After listening to it later with lower expectations, I found it to be a tidy little metal album. A nice listen, but not a place to turn to for a transcendental experience.
