In Flames, Nevermore - Six More Dates Announced For American Tour

As much as some of you will hate me saying this....SUCK IT UP. A lot of you who are complaining live in areas where tons of shows come through each year, and you can rest assured that if a band doesn't stop in your city on one tour, they will sure as hell do it on their next tour. Now you know what its like for some of the rest of us, who don't get to see every band we want to because the tours just don't come through our areas. We generally have to drive for hours on a regular basis to see anything good. For example, I live in Indiana, right across the Ohio River from Louisville, KY. (And I mean RIGHT ACROSS, you can see Louisville from most parts of the city) I'd say 75% of tours I want to see don't even come as close as Cincy or Colombus, they just hit Cleveland and then skip right on over to Chicago. Each of those is easily about a 9-10 hour drive. Needless to say, I miss a lot of shit. So, I give you two options: stop complaining and wait for the next tour, or start planning the road trip.

As it was explained to me, and I think Zanex mentioned this before, this tour is entirely secondary markets since In Flames just did a full leg of primary markets a few months ago (i.e. Chicago, LA, etc.)

Excellent.

Remember guys, think of all the little people over in places where there aren't any metalheads. We need good asskickings from time to time too.:)

i'd say wait until a setlist is announced until you buy a ticket :Smug:
Will you officially suck for telling people not to buy tickets until they know the setlist, a band at our level needs all the support we can get, that being said, we have been rehearsing Poison Godmachine and I , Voyager.... if that's not good enough for you please stay home

I'll be at the May 15th show in Lawrence. Should be awesome.

Hopefully I can meet you guys after the show.

^ I normally would travel for my favorite bands especially a band like Nevermore who is in my top 3, but NC is the closest date to me,
and it is FAR enough.

I'm so happy that there might be coming to Jaxx.
whe you're a student its hard to plan roas trips in the middle of the quarter :(

YAY for Jaxx!
*throws confetti on Nevermore*

Warrel (Sentient 6). Like I said before, I haven't seen you guys since 2000 and that was at Annie's in Cincinnati, OH when Tim Calvert was in the band during the DNB tour. The last time you guys were at Bogarts was before that when Tim just joined the band in like 1998.

To others like Lioness, Tiff, Will, etc... I'm sorry, and I'm sure Warrel and the guys are to, that the tour's not coming to "a city near you". Like Lunar Still said, he and I have to travel approximately 2 hours just to get to Cincinnati. But hell, "you can't please all the people all the time, and only some of the people some of the time." I'm sure Nevermore would like to be on a headlining tour or a better tour, but like Warrel said, " band at our level needs all the support we can get". I don't care what songs they are going to play, I'm just glad to see my favorite band once again.

Well I haven't seen nevermore at all (well, technically .1112% of a song and warrell saying something to the liking of "We are nevermore, keep true" or something like that. ) since they keep cancelling every time they have planned to come to utah except for once. And I showed up late for some reason and they were on the asshalf of the assend of their set by the time I got there (the dimmu/cob/nm/hypocrisy tour in 2002).

So unless I hear in the next 2 weeks of a show in utah (which there is room for on the 17th might I add) i'm gonna be going for a 7 hour drive/bus ride to colorado springs for the show there (with no throwdown!!!!).

wow. hopefully the next time will swing up my way, at least to an adjoining state! I'm happyfor anyone in Florida! I guess if we are patient, we'll all get our day. I just wanna see ya a few more times before you get so big that none of us can see you after the show!

Oh I wasn't complaining, I hope it didn't come off that way, I was just explaining my understanding of why they weren't going to major cities. I saw them like 10 times this summer and again in the fall :)

Edit: To sum it up: I'm going to whatever shows I occur near me. I won't bitch anymore. It was a joke. I apologize. I just dont want you to think of me as this retarded little kid on your board.

Now I'm no geographer, and I had to look at a map for this, but it looks like Wisconsin and Michigan are adjoining states and they are playing Grand Rapids ;)

I wasn't complaining about them touring, it is just me being the selfish cat I am. :D

"its not near me = its not in my world = its not mine"

type of thing.

but like I said... I'd normally drive to see a band I like... specially Nevermore
but its soooo hard to cordinate time when you're a student.

Will, I'm sure Warrel will forgive you. No disrespect, but if you are not one of Nevermore's biggest fans/fanboys then I don't know who is. I guess what you said was taken out of context.
