I for one really dig Reroute To Remain.... I can't stop listening to this cd!!!

I haven't got it yet - it's in the mail. I liked Clayman a lot so I don't think I'll have the "Jester Race' purist attitude where everything post Jester has been shite.

Secondly, what is a thread on In Flames doing on the Old School forum!!?? (not that I'm a forum nazi or anything)

I have yet to hear it. Everything after Whoracle has 4 or 5 good songs on it, so I'm not really looking forward to listening to this. Plus, the reviews I've read are mixed. So, I'll have to hear it for myself. I can always sell it if it sucks...

You're right.... IN FLAMES is a new band (not old school), but they have that killer "old school" style.... they are just badass!!!!

i dont know much in flames (not my kind of music), but i would like to have explained where/how they are old school style??

You could say they combine maiden-esque riffing with death metal. That's where the old-school comes from.

I love In Flames!!!.

Reroute To Remain is quite a challaning listen but i really DO love it.

I think In Flames went a bit down hill (for me) after Whoracle.Well,I can still listen to it...they still make some good songs,but I feel like there's something missing in comparison to their earlier work... but bands evolve right...
