Increasing probs in audiogears connections

After two years of studio using the probs of failing interconnections between my analogue desks and the outgear increasing. Mostly the plugs on the desks and the patchbays.
Now I try to clean the plugs and connectors from oxyde and dust. My question out to you profs is, what kind of cleaning agents and oxide solvings are you using?

Give up dude, its actually easier than most people say. Really. I did it and I was on 40 a day for 3 years before. I just stopped dead a week ago and I feel fine now, no cravings. Its all in the mind.

Contact ReNu and Lube is what you wanna use. Your connections will be a lot more tolerant if you switch from cigarettes to pot.

Actually, as much as we're joking, I've never allowed smoking in my studio and I've never had problems with my patch bays in 10 years now so.......
By the way Frank, I can't quite tell, but is that a big fat line you've got racked out in the middle of your desk haha
