Just picked up Infernal. For whatever reason, I hadn't been able to find it before now. I really enjoyed this album. Very much. Almost like 2 different bands wrote it, which it appears to be the case when looking at the song credits.

My favorites on the alum are definetly the Dan Swano written songs. I really enjoyed the more melodic side with theheavy riffs. Losing Myself, 15:36 are two of my favorites.

With the clean vocals and more melodic side of these songs, does any of Moontower or Nightingale resemble this? If not, do other Swano projects have this approach? Thanks.

Not particularly. Moontower is pretty melodic and whatnot, but there's no clean singing. Nightingale isn't melodic deathmetal in the slightest, so you're out of luck there too. You might want to check out the Odyssey MCD.. It's Dan singing clean on top of very melodic metal.

Hell is Where the Heart Is....

In my opinion simply the best Edge of Sanity song there is (bar Crimson), in particular the awesome solo mid section.
