Input Monitoring in PT9

Dispite hitting the "auto input monitoring" in the dropdown menu I still can't figure out how to stop PT monitoring my DI signal when I have armed my audio tracks.

I wan't to mute that so I can monitor with my PODXT.

I'm using a Profire 2626 + Audient Mico.

Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Hit mute? Maybe I don't understand the question but if you don't want to hear the DI, mute the track.
Auto-input monitoring just automatically selects playback or input based on whether or not you are recording. This is as opposed to input-only mode which allows you to play over a track during playback with a track armed but not recording.
