I was looking at the Exodus tourdates tonight, and holy shyte...they've got like two days off. I can't remember the last time I saw a tour schedule that looked like this. These guys are just plain insane.

thats insane by todays standards but years ago bands would play 5 days a week and do 2 sets some nights
 
I'm not impressed by the new album...
The press folks were trying to get me to do a face to face intie, even free tickets wasn't enough to intice me to head out to see them on the
23rd...They just arent't the band that I used to love. If Souza isn't in for the departed Baloff I'm just not interested. I will say that their last record was good, this new album I simply could give two shits about...
 
Well, I'll admit Shovel-Headed...is better than Atrocity, but I do like the latter fine enough. My major complaint is that the guitar sound is tooooooo grindy, grainy, what-have-you. I mean, I'm not sure I've ever heard a guitar that tingy and distorted before. Celtic Frost did the same thing on Monotheist, but pulled it off because their stuff is so freaking low.
