Yeah LMS was pretty fun, but it sucked when i lost all my lives first and had to watch hehe, though i recognize the technique everyone uses with their guns....interchanging between weapons quickly. Ive just gotta set some keys up so i can make a switch between guns easier

No, don't use the mouse wheel. Bind your keys so you can access any weapon at any time. It's a lot better than a mouse wheel.
