What do you think the best instrumental from a vocal band is?

Ytse Jam ( D T )

Mettle man ( Enchant )

Riding the shantak ( Paynes gray )

Akasha chronicles ( Lemur voice )

Day at guyanna ( Agent steel )

Cremation ( King diamond )

Hells kitchen ( D T )

Thats the ones that came to the top of my head!!

SX - Rediscovery Pt 1, On the Breath of Poseidon and Death of Balance. These songs really make the album for me.

The Flower Kings - Astral Dog, Atomic Prince, Circus Brimstone, Rumble Fish Twist, Retropolis, The Melting Pot, Pioneers of Avaition and a few pieces from Garden of Dreams.

Anekdoten - Karelia from Vemod

Anglagard - Jordrok from Hybris

Porcupine Tree - Mother and Child Divided (Not exactly from an album, but a cool instrumental nonetheless) Wedding Nails and probably some from Up the Downstairs.

DT - Hell Kitchen, Erotomania, Stream of Consciousness and Overture 1928.

Wobbler - Clair Obscure

White Willow - The Crucible

Spock's Beard - Chataugua

Too much King Crimson to List

The Ides of March & Ghengis Khan-Maiden
Into the Arena-Michael Schenker Group
Stigmata-Arch Enemy
Still I'm Sad-Rainbow
The Jester's Dance & Dialogue With The Stars-In Flames
Cliffs of Dover-Eric Johnson
Night Lights-Scorpions
Stream of Consciousness-DT

Stream of Consciousness is my favorite DT instrumental
Patterns in the Ivy and Ending Credits by Opeth
Any Rush instrumental, but mostly YYZ, La Villa Strangiato, and the two on Snakes & Arrows

And of course, anything Symphony X touches turns to gold (or, in Shades of Grey's case, rust), so I nominate Into the Dementia, Sonata, all the segues on V, and Oculus.
