What does it mean when you open your browser (Internet Explorer) and discover that your homepage is now an anti-pop-up pop-up?
I opened Internet Explorer, and a pop-up ad came up. Then my CD-drives opened, and a new window opened saying that "if your CD-Drives opened, you are at risk" or something like that.
Then notepad opened with a notepad message saying "if your notpad opened, you are at risk."
Anyone else had this experience?

i did see a show once where they hacked into a computer in another studio at a tv station and they were opening and shutting the drives!

do u have zonealarn or nortons?

Thanks, yous guys.
I do have Norton and it's firewall. Our DSL modem also has a firewall...
I updated Norton, and no viruses were detected.
If I get another virus, oh well. I'm getting used to having my PC re-formatted.
That's why I save all my important stuff on a disc.

It means you need to stop using internet explorer for one.

Manually change your homepage back, get or update and run adaware or spybot.
