Found it when I searched to see if SweetWater had SIR2. They don't. But this looked neat...wonder if it's substantially better than the little Aurelex things you can put on the neck of a mic?

Yeah I saw that one too. I'd be more interested in the bigger one for vocals than the one for drums. $299...if it works then it'd be worth it, IMO. Then again I could just spend that $300 on room treament...but how far would that actually get me as far as getting some tighter, more direct vocal tracks?

I've used them for vocals and I really don't think they're that effective. They do look cool though.

Well said. I remember seeing some plans for a little box thing you can make to fit around the mic for vocals and there were two clips, one without the box and one with. The one without the box was OK, you definitely tell they were in a large untreated room, and the one with the box was awesome. Had a very direct, full sound to it. I think I'll look into that before I drop $300 on a little "wall."
