Interview up

It was Paul who had that one episode of Sesame Street on tape. I have no idea if he still has it or if he knows where it is. I have quite a bit of other old episodes on tape though, but not the infamous Gordon-toking-gesture one.

I also have several old episodes of 'The Electric Company' featuring a young Morgan Freeman in the cast, as well as quite a few other notable celebs who went on to bigger things later. That show was a trip as well. I also have some old 3-2-1 Contact episodes, particularly the one where Trini (LOL!) goes backstage at a KISS concert, which needless to say, is my favorite episode. Plus they had the classic "Bloodhound Gang" vignettes.
Most of you are probably too young to remember but man, PBS used to really show some cool shit. In addition to the psychedelic childrens programming, they had awesome shows like 'Mystery', 'Monty Python', 'Doctor Who', and alot more, including stuff like showing a whole Pink Floyd concert from the "Atom Heart Mother" era (which I have on tape as well, thanks to my drummer Joe!) I believe many a stoner sat up late on a saturday or sunday night watching PBS, lol!

I used to watch Monty Python on PBS and Dr. Who always came on at weird times.

Next tour, we should all hang out and watch TV.

We had a TV, DVD player, VCR, Playstation2, and I think the TV was on a total on 1 hour the entire tour.

At that point Vito and I we're playing video games, Mike had a coloring book and crayons, coloring away, as we were passing the time, and the Gathering walked onto the RV, at I felt like we were the Hanson Brothers from the movie Slapshot. They must have taken one look and said "They brought their fucking toys!."

We're so metal.

Up the horns for Geeky Doom Metal!!!!!!!!!!

haha, the coloring book! Actually if you recall, we got a few funny moments of us goofing off with that coloring book on video. That'll have to make it onto the dvd someday.

And I remember the "toilet paper guy" that you're talking about I think, from 321 Contact, he was some performance artist guest on there a couple of times....he wore all black from head to toe, but he had toilet paper rolls attached to his head and he didnt speak. Again, you know there were some drugs behind that shit probably lol

YES!!! I remember that toilet paper guy! And you're right, now that I think of it; I wish I was able to think of it back then to tape some of these programs. I'd probably sit there in amazement and just watch this all over a week's time when there isn't any hockey on.

The best picture in that book was that one dude with the shin guard sea urchin spikes with his out stretched leg trying to kick the dragon off the road. It was like he was saying "You dragons get!" I hope Mike still has that picture cause I die everytime I look at it.
