Rather than start 3 threads I thought I'd confine this to one :) So:

1. I bought Rocksound the other day, as it had an 2 page Anathema interview, I can scan it in and if ne of you want a copy email to you.

2. Does anyone know what the tragedy that befell them all in 1994 was? If you know and its private or you don't think they'd want people to know, don't say

3. Of all the songs on the inside of the Judgment cover, I can see songs by Charles Manson (Helter Skelter??? Or did he just carve that into one of the body's, or write it on the wall in blood, I can never remember that), Bob Dylan, Eurythmics, Iron Maiden (??), Monty Python :) , Sex Pistols and the Rolling Stones. I've only skimmed them so I'm probably missing some obvious ones, but neway, who did the others?

It is a personal/private one (if you are referring to Pentecost III with this)

There was lots of discussion about this on the official Anathema mailinglist awhile ago. I think almoist a complete list can be found at the message archives. I will dig it up for you and post it somewhere here.

Subject: Remembering the inspiration of Anathema

Hello to you all on the list.

I'm going to pick again on the subject of the inspiration of Anathema.
About a month ago Daniel Fernández Murga [amurga@econ.uba.ar] sent a message
to this mailing concerning the list of songs Anathema present on the booklet
of "Judgement" as being their influences in the latest times. As not all the
list was completed and I have a database of bands made by myself (still in
construction) I took a time to get this list finished, with the help of
UBL.COM too... just for my own satisfaction, but now I like to share it with
you all...
