English vs. native language

I used to write stuff only in English because I felt it sounded better, then a couple of years back I started wondering whether writing in English was away to distance myself from the meaning, or to make it sound more dramatic or romantic (them Amaerican movies and Bon Jovi).
I don't think that is a good thing, do you reallly?

Dunno, but my diary entries are in English too. So I guess you're right :)

My first love confession was made in English, too :D
Only proper love confessions are physical ones. If a girl would say she loved me I'd think she's taking the piss. Trust no one.

i've always been intrigued by the english language, *proper* english, rite. i've always disgusted the way radiohosts and stuff do it the american way (alrite Mehdi, you can say it now..), and i've always been hooked on the Jane Austen books and series on telly. i've had a UK-preference since i was a kid on holidays and overheard a cpl of them posh bastards speaking proper british. nowadays, scouse is my favourite accent, tho EastEnders is pulling in a bit on it... tho mind you: i hate the series!!
