Intro Tracks for Live Gigs

Ok it might sound a bit "naff" but I need to find a decent track to intro our band live.....

Anyone got any suggestions ?

I like ones that are original and have something resembling what the band is about.

I've been thinking about making one for my band. Kind of a spacey atmospheric intro that will lead into the first song. I like when bands do it well and have something of theirs and not just the star wars music or some other cliched piece.

write one. i personally love original ones. if i played live, i'd do something atmospheric/orchestral.

I'd say either write something original or find something obscure. Opeth's use of the Popol Vuh song was great, IMO.

metal bands using intros is such a cliche
just start playing and thrash the place or you could go with the machine head style "fuckkk youu allll " that would work as an intro

I made this for a band a while back, and it never got used, don't know if it's your style or not, as the talking is all about the Vietnam war, so probably useless to you unless you have a track about war that you can start your sets with lol, but here it is anyways.
