The Fens
Hi there!

Im just saying hello - Im a 30yr old brit who loves Anthrax (has ALL the studio albums, most of the early stuff on vinyll too). I've been reading this board for ages, but only just felt compelled to write in...

Love Joey AND John era Anthrax. If I might be so bold, people are getting all bent out of shape with members of the band over what may or may not have been said in the press. Personally, I'm really glad that Joey is back, but yes, I will also miss John. I hope that the two of them could work together, as I'm sure their voices would compliment each other well (I loved the Ball of Confusion cover track for that very reason!). I will miss Rob a lot, but then I grew up with the Among version of 'Thrax.

Why don't people just chill out a bit and wait and see what happens ? Sometimes I think the net causes more problems for bands than it solves - in the old days you'd just have had letters, magazines and tape trading. Try not to get too bent out of shape with the cult of personality attached to musicians - even the biggest assholes can produce good music (step forward Kerry King) - and don't forget that musicans also have families, real lives and mouths to feed. They don't exist just for our amusement, and I'm sure they don't take any decisions likely. Maybe one day Anthrax will devolve their band decisions to the fans through a vote: until that time, step off, as I'm assured my trans atlantic cousins would have it.

Anyway, nice to be here!

Carcass Chris.

Alas, I'm fresh out of red bull. Now - Lager, Bitter, Ale or Stout and White trash, crack whore or Fillipino she-male ?

Thanks for the welcome!

Just been listening to the new Municipal Waste album (Earache) - great stuff! Like a head on combo of 1987 and now! Thrasmongous!

Now I've just got to get hold of the new Exodus...(and a legit copy of the last Death Angel...:D

I never got the stuff about this Rob guy, WTF has he ever done or meant for the band? IMO he is the least important ex member ever!

Scott himself said that he was the best guitarist he'd ever played with...plus, he did a production of WCFYA, which is the best sounding record I think.
As for writing and composing, he probably deserves the some kind of credit as Danny Spitz.

Yeah, I loved all Carcass, but I am one of the few who actually liked Swansong - however I loved Blackstar / Blackstar Rising even more!

You ever hear that album ? 3/4 of the the last Carcass album in it...

I keep hoping for a reunion, but alas, I cant see it happening.

I love everything Carcass did but I can't stand Blackstar for some reason.Yeah, I keep hoping that a reunion will happen but I think they are just going to be one of those bands that don't buy into the whole nostalgia trip. Since we are dreaming. I would like to see Carcass, Faith no More and Sepultura(w/max of course) play some shows together...Ahhh thats a nice dream

Sorry bt to me he is a big zero! not as a person of course since I don;t know him personally, but he is just another very short lived ANTHRAX guitarist....

He is a decent producer though, but I don't like WCFYA's production much considdering it's ANTHRAX.
