So, I just got that IR8 vs Sexoturica CD that Newsted put out. Anybody else heard it? I think the Sexoturica portion is pretty fuckin cool shit, but the IR8 songs suck. Jason's death metal vocals are just anal rot. Horrible. But his Sexoturica vocals are kinda cool-like a heavier Lemmy. I like that a lot more. What do other people think of the music on there (and not their opinion of Jason in general)?
For those that dont know (and dont read blabbermouth where its Jasonic this, Jasonic that, constantly) IR8 is a side project that Newsted put together in the mid 90's with Tom Hunting from Exodus on drums and a then unknown Devin Townsend on guitar. Sexoturica is the same band basically, only with Andreas from Sepultura on guitar this time. Jason does the vocals.
