Iron Maiden Australian Tour?

I heard a rumour that Iron Maiden could possibly be touring Australia sometime later this year. Is this true?

I doubt it would be this year cos Steve's meant to be working on the dance Of Death tour dvd (I hope this is true!) and Bruce is meant to be in the studio recording a new studio album (again I hope this is true!) and everyone's taking time off after the tour. I think it'll be next year before we hear anymore tour dates from Maiden.

An Aussie buddy of mine spoke with Rod in NYC and basically Rod said they would never go down under.
Rod almost died at that point.
