iron maiden - iron maiden sound

Hi everyone!!

I'm trying to learn iron maiden song from the first album with my guitar (gibson sg)....

I can't really find a sound that is similar to the original song...That kind of distortion is drive me crazy!

Can someone help me, telling me how to set the distortion and the eq of the amp to imitate that distortion? (i tried with a boss pedal called mega-distortion but without any good result)

Ehm i tend to imitate it with a zoom 606 with the lead dist. eq in 29 and a marshall with bass-5 mid-6- treble-6 and always delay is good.
