The whole point of the article posts is to promote discussion, be it that they are human intrest, political or any other form of article that is posted. It gives a reference point for people to start a discussion on a level playing field so to speak. If people choose to go off and read further information and research further, they are free to do so. If not, they dont.
This forum is a public forum, where by no one has there posts screened by a moderator to ensure that they suitable for posting, therefore anyone has the chance to post, reply and comment on whatever topic they see fit.
If someone does not like the content of a said post, be it mine, Spiff, Winmar, goreripper or anyone else they have the choice to either read it and say nothing, or ignore it totally. I personally choose not to comment on a topic if it does not intrest me, or I dont feel I know enough about the subject to make an informed and objective comment.
Would the same request to stop posting be made to Brian if he continually posted about CD's for sale for example, or Sprouse Goose posting topics about the upcomming NRL season? Somehow, I think not.
I will continue to use this forum in the same way I have been. This is Maiden Downunder, not "The World according to certain members" If you dont like something....dont read it.
