Irradiation Airport Version

Radiation levels not dangerous as long as you don't go through it a few thousand times a year, unless there are malfunctions or scanners that are at higher levels (possible as the low radiation ones are more expensive than the more controllable ones). Situation a little more blurry when it comes to airport workers because no real precautions have been taken to prevent them exposure (unlike x-ray techs in the hospital for example)...

going through security at LAX a couple of days ago, i was watching the screen where you can see the insides of suitcases and holy shit! it's not a grey, hazy picture anymore. it looks like a videogame--it's a 3D rotating frame model with objects inside all colored differently (I imagine by density) and the dude was spinning it and zooming in on certain parts. it was honestly just like a "futuristic" movie graphic.
