basically alex says he can't make it to some shows due to commitments to other things like AS Trio, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, things which were booked before the testament reunion shows were presented.

That is a pretty douchy move of Alex and Testament.
What a fucking low blow to skimp out on the States, and play over in Europe.
I don't blame them though. The US governement, culture and metal scene sucks here.

Jeff doesn't refuse to play there, i'm the admin of the Annihilator site (ol753) and talk to Jeff alot. Every single tour, he wants to play the US and TRYS and TRYS, but the American companies have little or no interest in thrash especially a band who haven't got as much recognition as they should. He trys, believe me, he trys. no deal in US = no tour in US. Sucks really.

yeah, and it's got strong, he IS actually trying. Strapping young lad can tour cause they're reaaaaally popular at the moment and are selling well, and as far as i know they have a deal in the US? Annihilator don't. The company they're signed to won't fund a US tour I don't think.
An Annihilator DVD coming out soon containing all the videos, interviews with past members, rare live footage, and loads of stuff, that'll be interesting for sales.
But i dunno, I hope they tour the US, because I know Jeff wants to.

"since i have always hired members, i can't do tours unless i make enuff money to pay them, bus, food, etc....
since no decent labels have offered us a decent usa/can deal, i can't do the touring there. now some have yelled "why don't you take your money and put it into touring for the USA/Can fans"..
simply this:
i love metal, i love all metal styles, bands and fans but since i have been a single dad of a 9 year old son, touring europe/asia with annihilator, having my own studio, producing, mixing, engineering, tunes for video games, tv shows, movies, playing on other's cd's, etc....; well you can imagine i don't have the time to be on the road all the time. our steady success in europe, since 1989 to now, has let me keep making metal music; for those who are un-aware of Annihilator (or only have heard of Alice/Neverland), I am just about to release my 14th record.... a shock to many usa fans!
however, that might change pretty soon!
i might have some usa backing soon for the new cd or for sure the one after.... if that happens, i will forget all the other stuff, use my great family support for my son, and get touring North America! Who wouldn't want to do that?! USA and Canada rock and are the most beautiful countries in the world to travel and tour in; not to mention the metal fans!"
