It's only for my own stuff.
Though I want to release it, something to save time would be nice.
Also, it would be nice to focus more time on recording and writing, instead of dealing with a lot of mixing.
I'm making music in several different genres.

It's on sale now; so pros/Cons?

Cons : not much of a real difference wih EZ 1, you won't do in essence more

Pros : 32 out instead of 16 so you're not stuck with all toms on the same output track in your daw. It was one of the advantages of s2.0 but with EZ your sounds are almost mix ready, here you don't have this limitation anymore. Also you have a few more sounds (clap/tambourine etc) which can always be useful, and the groove manager is better. Other than that it's a minor upgrade imo

I think he's talking about EZMix2, not EZDrummer2

Pros - It's quick

Cons - It's a crutch and pales in comparison to individual plugins.

Take the extra time to learn about mixing and you'll be way happier with you songs.

Just trying to save you time and money.

Its pretty good for what it is. If you start every mix knowing exactly how you want everything to sound than it may not be for you. You cant tweak much in the presets.

I like to use it when Im not sure of a sound, like If I have my drums and bass up and working and I need to kind of figure out a direction with the tone of the guitars, or If I have a guitar sound and some drums working and I just want a quick bass tone that will do the job. I really like the clean guitar tones and lead tones from some of the packs too and often end up keeping those sounds for my mixes. The Sneap pack is great, and some of the others geared toward metal have been pretty useful to me. If its cheap Id say swoof it up.

Well worth it. I got EZMix 2 and a six pack (Sneap, Metal Amps, lead vocals, mastering 2, metal essentials and metal). The Sneap, Metal Amps, and Metal Essentials are worth it. I might skip Mastering 2 and lead vocals this time around. Overall, I would recommend it and at the cyber Monday price of $49, its a no brainer (sweetwater.com)
