I dont think I've ever posted here (but I do post in other UM forums) but Jerry Gaskill (King's X Drummer) and his wife lost everything due to Sandy in NJ.
He also had a heart attack last year so this last couple of years have been real bad to him.

There was a post on FB saying the band was fine. No mention of the studio but if it was destroyed I'm sure they would have mentioned it.
