Favela of My Dismay
This band's life story is a untold horror movie! I heard they made it on vh1's top 100 metal moments at like 60 something. Somebody needs to make a film on these fucks lol. Boil 2 lbs of Dead asada with potato's and carrots, simmer and serve! Killing homosexuals, burning churches, walking around with deceased fowl and hamsters, killing one another over the fact that you feel less "evil" than your counterpart! Wtf! This has hollywood written all over it! :cool:
 
Don't forget that they forgot to mention that when Euronymous and Hellhammer found Death dead in the cabin from shooting himself in the head, not only did Euronymous take a piece of his skull, he also took pictures, which ended up being the album cover for "Dawn of the Black Hearts" or something like that...

I'm not big on a lot of the BM that was going on at that time, but I am fascinated by the bands themselves and the people in them...I've read just about every interview with Grishnackh (Varg Vikernes - the one who killes Euro)...he's a pretty radical dude, some very extreme views...makes for interesting reading...

I'd by the documentary in a heartbeat...

Now I'll probably get flamed by some supposed "tr00" who claims I got some obscure fact wrong or that this is all old news or for not being a real fan of BM or some shit like that...
 
This is really quite old news and I think most people are sick of talking about it now. For the uninitiated it is quite interesting though, I guess.
 
Speaking of Mayhem, I saw a kid on cops wearing a Mayhem shirt get arrested for attempting assault on two random people with a knife haha

I just thought that was funny and had to mention it.

I would have to answer that by saying I was watching VH1 to watch that show in particular...some of it was pretty fucking funny...especially the parts on Mayhem and Gorgorath...

I don't remember anyone being forced to come in this thread and participate in the discussion. Your statement that this subject ceased to be interesting to you and others some time ago - I'll take that as implying that anyone who is still interested in it is obviously a newbie of some sort - I guess I'm not cool or some stupid shit like that. I already did do some fucking reading on my own...and I had no idea that there is a rule stating that if an earlier thread covered a subject then we aren't allowed to start or participate in another one about the same subject.
