Hi, like i wrote in title I'm looking for user of this interface since my old-trusty m-audio audiophile 192 died on me, and I have couple question:
1. How it's compatibility with windows 7 x64?
2. How about latency? but not just driver latency that DAW will show but whole signal path. If some one could take a patch cable and plug it to IN and OUT of interface and measure latency on some low buffer with this tool https://centrance.com/downloads/ltu/ I'll be greatful. For ex. m-audio on 44.1kHz 64bit buffer has 2.3ms driver latency in DAW but real latency from in to out was about 10~11ms.
3. How about overall performance using it with low buffer like 64 and do recording with some amp sim on insert and VST drum soft. Is it smooth no cracks in audio and cpu spikes?
4. And last but not least how it work as a default audio device in windows for ordinary multimedia stuff. movies, listen to music ect. M-Audio sucked at this and after while of watching movie or listen to music audio service was crashing and I had to manually restart audio service from task manager or reboot and in the worst case I got blue screen.
EDIT:
Maybe some of you have bigger brother iD14 and care to share thoughts?
