guitar tone is just POD yes, no impulses and yes lots and lots of tweaking.

bass tone is not POD tho.

My advice would be to use impulses anyway, but if you like the "tact" then leave it as it is.

man, this sounds plastic... i dont like it, sounds like you take some good sounding samples, paste them into your mix and that's all ;P you must glue all those pieces together more

Lol this guy really, really does sound like Vincent from Acacia. Considering apparently he DOESN'T want to sound like him haha, I personally don't see whats wrong with that though. Just listened to the mix again by the way dude, particularly liking the snare. I might just suggest bringing the bass up a tiny tiny amount, it feels kinda barely there to me and I feel it could thicken the guitars a tad. That being said, I'm biased being a bass player.

Sounds really good Seth. The guitar tone is pretty good but I think this track could really benefit from a 5150/6505 reamp, it would really put it over the top.

I like the low end; it's powerful but not overpowering.

I actually just came to post that I listened to this on my monitors instead of my headphones and yeah. The bass is gigantic, completely retract my statement. Lol
