Yeah it's like the thing with the neutrinos. They claimed, after several months past the discovery, to have detected particles, neutrinos, traveling faster than light (at CERN). But they finally said that it was an error of measurement due to a faulty GPS or something.
I was like-- is it really an error or were they all told to shut the fuck up ?
If it was true, that would have mean we could throw away every book of science and start from scratch.

Unfortunately, that sort of thinking will get you nowhere here. I wish more people could ask the sort of questions you are asking without getting silenced by internet trolls.
