Issue with Facebook band page name

Quick question guys, my friend and I are tracking guitars for our first EP together and we made a facebook page. The issue is since another band already has the same name, we cannot name our page that. It automatically changes it to "Unofficial (insert band name)" and associates it with the other band.

Any way around this? Seems somewhat crazy to make every name requirement to be 100% unique

You either have a large enough following or you don't get to be verified.

No probs. Facebook generally isn't friendly to anyone not throwing large sums of money at it.

Need to show that you're selling on a major platform like iTunes/Amazon/etc.
Be verified by a label/publisher.
Have 10k or more fans.
