not bad, not bad...
i wrote in a dialect spoken in the area around cologne (köln) called "kölsch" to improve difficulty
the last two lines were taken from a "kölsch" carnival song.
translation:
we leave the dome in cologne
because that's where it belongs
what should it stand anywhere else
this would make no sense at all
this is a reference to the german saying "die kirche im dorf lassen", which translates in "to leave the church in town" and means something like not to mess around like insane and keep it all relatively civil.
and because cologne is the capital of german carnival and the cologne people have a great affinity for their dome, whis all is blended into this rather stupid song.
some other lyrics you might have a try on: (carnival kölsch, of course )
Kumm, loss mer fiere, nit lamentiere
jet Spass un Freud, dat hät noch keinem Minsch jeschad.
Denn die Trone, die do laachs, musste nit kriesche.
