Italy would be nice...

I'm not too sure about where to go and what to see other than the normal tourist attractions. But you can do me big favor tho...

Bring me back the head of Claudio from Adrenaline Records. If that's not too much to ask... or you could leave a severed horse head in his bed, yes?

Have a nice vacation... pics please, post pics.
hmmm....can you think of anything a little easier to bring back home?

Going to Italy in April. Aside from the normal tourist attractions, does anyone know of any cool shows over there around that time?

Hi, i'm from Italy.
Sorry for my english starting from...now!
Right in April, The Children of the damned will play four gigs during which it will be possible to listen some real fuckin' metal! The Children of... are the best italian maidne tribune band, and, after their classic show, Paul Di Anno will go on the stage, singing both Maiden tracks and songs he's written after leaving the Irons.

here are the dates and places:

04/04/2004 - "NEW AGE" - RONCADE (TREVISO)

03/04/2004 - "CORALLO" - SCANDIANO (REGGIO EMILIA)

02/04/2004 - "BABYLONIA" - BIELLA

01/04/2004 - "RADIOROCK FESTIVAL" - OCCHIOBELLO (ROVIGO)

hope to meet you, and sorry again if my english is not so good...
See ya!

Thanks for the info...unfortunately, I'm leaving for Italy April 9 so I will miss those dates...but let me know if anything else comes up.:)

Merlot & Paté??? That's French! No you want to try the Barolo & Presutto per favore.
Never mind the shows you're going to be in Europe! You can see all the shows you want here.
Yeah of course everybody goes to Rome and for good reason. But its really beautiful up north too. The Alps are up there..ché bella! If you can see Lake Garda do it. Venice is very touristy but you really gotta see it and April is the purrrrfect time. Its flooded in the winter and hot and smelly in the summer. Try the sangiovese if you want good wine. It'll be like 3.75 Euros too!! Thats about $3.75 American its pretty even. Least it was 2 years ago! Bye!

Hey brucethebest, have you ever heard of a prog band over there called Icycore? They're based in Livorno.

No, I'm sorry, I've never heard about them...probably because I live in Milan, which is quite far from Livorno. Most probably because I don't like prog at all!! :tickled:

WANDA!!!!! You ready for ITALY BABY!?!?!?!?? Just a few more days!!!! Let us know how the Maiden tribute band is you were going to see over there! Maybe they'll let you sit in on a tune or two! We want photos!!!!!!!!

Have a safe and fun trip! :)

We'll miss ya!

Subliminal message: Did I ever mention that I love Merlot?

Yeah, what Linda said... photos... lot's of photos... :D

Merlot, eh, Linda. Ever try Gato Negro Merlot? Good stuff ;)

I have not tried it! I will have to investigate at the new Beverage Warehouse that just opened up down the street! ;) Speaking of Gato Negro.....I just got a new toy!!! (I LOVE plush animal toys!!!!) It's an almost life-sized black panther that roars and has these green eyes that light up when you squeeze his big ol paw! So beautiful and so cuuuute!!! Of course, my cat, Puddy, has taken a few strikes at it already! What does this have to do with Italy? Uh,...........nothing.

K, we await photos!!!!!!!

I sent an e-mail to The Clairvoyants and to Iron Gates, 2 other Italian tribute bands. They don't don't appear to have any shows scheduled in the near future but you never know. There is another Italian tribute band called The Prisoners, but their website is down. It would be cool to check out another tribute band in another country. :)
