Italy

Hi Wanda, unfortunately many of the Iron Maiden tribute bands web sites aren't kept up to date or don't work. The Ides of March, Children of the Damned, Total Eclipse, The Clairvoyants, and Iron Gates don't have any tour dates scheduled. Though a band called Anthenora who is an Iron Maiden tribute band will have 2 tour dates in late April, though I don't know how long you'll be there or where you'll be heading. Here they are...

4/22/04 Shok club - Torino (city/town)
4/23/04 La Sfing - Brescia (city/town)

Hope it helps any, shug down a couple of Bira Moretti's, and have a blast out there! :Spin:

Hi everyone,
I think it's too late...but, have a look at: www.eddies.it
A couple of days ago I've added a new section: LIVE ZONE (lower right in the page).
In this section you can find many italian tribute bands and info about live shows.
The site is in italian...but I think dates are easy to translate :D
Hope this help.
Seeya,
MaZZo.

PS good selection of italian wines ;)

I feel so behind the times, but have a GREAT trip, Wanda. Hit some fun places, drink some good vino, and if you have a chance, you'll want to hit some cafe's and try a variety of the regions olive oils. My parents came back from Italy last year and had a blast..one of the highlights was all the variety of olive oil and wines when they went to the Tuscan region.

And don't forget, when the put the bread, olive oil, and basalmic vingar on the table, fill the small, rounded bowl/plate with a good sized amount of the oil, then mix the basalmic vingar (about 1 part to 4 parts oil) and then dip. God its amazing..and that way you don't stand out as a tourist. hehe [course you could already know that..d'oh]

i went all over italy last july

it rocked

you dont need to go to shows

just enjoy the scenery

this is the time to find yourself

I went on a tour(globus)
it was by far the coolest
have fun there

I went to
Rome
Pisa
Florence
Vatican City
Venice
Padova(padua)
Verona

Just got back home. Italy is a very beautiful country..I definitely want to go back. I finally got an e-mail from Paulo and Mauro from The Clairvoyants and Gio from Iron Gates..but it was too late..I was already back home. I will have to contact them sooner the next time I decide to go...it would have been cool to check them out.

Going to Italy in April. Aside from the normal tourist attractions, does anyone know of any cool shows over there around that time?

Hey, I just moved from LA to Italy in February... I'm a big fan, I used to come see every show you guys (gals) ever played at Palladino's and Platinum Live. Anyway, besides the obvious tourist places, you must come see my home town -- a gorgeous renaissance-period city in the Marche region (adjacent to Tuscany). The town is called Urbino and I'll gladly show you around. To see pics of the town, follow this link: http://www.urbinonline.net/

Give my best to the Maidens, I sure miss seeing the shows...

That would be cool if I get another opportunity to go there again. I was near Tuscany and it was really pretty.
