My car hasn't got aux connection to play Iphone or any other mp3 device. Installation could cost 250 €.

I've found googling some FM transmitor. What they do is transmit via FM the iPods music and you receive it on your radio.

One of the most famoues is the iTrip.

Does it worth, does it sound good? is teher any better device than the iTrip?

I don't know the iTrip, but some friends of mine have got those FM-transmittors and they all sound like shit.
Plus they stop working after a few weeks.. and you're getting heavy noise in your signal :(
I, too have no Aux/iPhone-In because VW wanted like 500€ for it (You have to buy their most expensive radio for the feature  )
Atm, I just use mp3 CDs, but a _good_ solution to use iPods/iPhones would be appreciated.

I've got a VW too... I asked for a new radio CD and they told me 600 € for a radio with Aux connection!

So, if audio quality is shit I don't want FM transmitter. But I'm tired of having CD's in my car, some of them are already scratched and in bad condition...

Just get an aftermarket headunit (radio). I have an older VW with a JVC headunit which I picked up for about $AUS400. It was on older model so it didn't have the iPod connectivity, though the new ones do, and ones which have less i/o features than mine aren't even that expensive.
Fuck OEM radios. Most are shit anyway.

My OEM radio fits my car perfectly, it is just a matter of aesthetic... I don't want to fuck the appearance of the car inside. But yes, that would be the best solution. There are many good radio players out there...most of them for 1 rack slot, and my OEM is 2 slots.

Dont bother with the FM transmitters for iPods, they seriously suck dick. Been using 3 in my girlfriends car for a year now and we're just gonna get a new radio for christmas

Yeah man, you might as well hold off on the shitty transmitter and invest in a head unit. I got a fairly cheap Pioneer for around $120 that has the Aux and a USB port that will charge your iPod as well as allow you to browse your library from the unit itself. It's super handy. Plus, if you install yourself you save that extra bit of cash.
