Was -11 last night. FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK..

I like winter, rain, cold, snow... and also like spring, summer, sun, beach, nipples to the wind.... Every season has his good and bad things.

I live by the sea, that is said to be mild... but today 1ºC and rainy... so sensation of coldness is even worse... mountains around are snowed, this happens only 2 or 3 times a year. Not enough for snowboarding, for that I have to drive 3 hours.
Inner towns have reached -10ºC

Who thought Spain is only sun and beach is completely wrong!

Big +1 to this man.

Swelling hands, and a 10 degree room to play guitar in whilst I have to get a fire going to warm up the house, hauling in coal and taking out ash in the negative degrees C? No thanks. :goggly:

I hear you man... as I get older, my body just can't handle the cold weather (I mean the extreme cold, not your average winter day). My hands are getting arthritic from playing guitar, unfortunately, and the cold makes them ache so bad sometimes.

I need to get closer to the equator! :kickass:

Wow dude, your only source of heat is a coal stove? And yet you have the internet?

It's actually a massive fire, and it does heat the whole house up, but it does take about 4 hours. That's four hours in which I freeze to death. :waah: Also runs the water to the shower, so its a choice of be warm or be clean, I've been skimping a lot on the last part lately. :p

And yup I have half a megabit "broadband" out here in the middle of nowhere, gives me a bout 60kb/s. Its tragic, still I can stream porn without any problems so it is moderately acceptable.

Haha, damn dude - to be clear, I never doubted that a stove could heat a whole house, I'm just amazed people still use them as the only source these days (god, even for heating water, jesus  ), rather than supplementing a furnace

Yeah, it is a bit prehistoric, still, only 7 more months of living in cavemanville to go, before I go to annoy civilisation. :kickass:
