I heard a mp3 a while back of the Pain of Salvation song Ashes, with the vocals read by Microsoft Sam over guitar pro music.

Idk if that's relevant but I thought it was nifty!

I hate when my guitarists bring me new riffs in guitar pro, in that time they could have actually recorded guitars over a lame drum machine and it would have sounded better.

Like, I can't here the heavy metal theough the midi guitar, I just can't image how the riff would sound IRL and everything sounds like ninja gaiden.

I guess it's practical for them, especially if a riff is kinda complicated, but I hate it.
