ah good man Tully!

read V years ago but I'm downloading this now

I'll get those other ones too

have you ever read 'from hell'?
heavy one but worth it

I havn't read from Hell, which is weird because im an Alan Moore fanboy =P, I think ill try to find the digital version right now in fact, thanks for the reminder!

Speaking of hell, and comic book movies, I actually enjoyed Constantine the movie, but put in the context of the Hellblazer/Swampthing comics...they really really didn't a crappy job, haha. I think thats the way its gonna be with V, good flick on its own, but really doesn't capture much of the comics.

Alan Moore is THE man
I thought the from hell movie was pretty good
but obviously couldn't cover all the layers of the graphic novel

haven't read much of the details of his problems with V for vendetta

I think frank miller had a good thing going with sin city
having someone direct it that was 100% respectful with his work
theres some good extra feature stuff on the dvd where he speaks about it
the whole opening scene was created just to win him over

had a flick through the first walking dead, looks great

keep em coming

Yea I just read one press-release by Moore saying he didn't want anything at all to do with the V movie, sortta depressing =(.

To tell the truth, I havn't even seen the Sin City movie! Haha, but by the previews I've seen it seems like they definitly captured the book very well, the vibes from the art especially.

Check out that Alias comic I just put up their, its a really great book. Its in the vein of a lot of comics these days, sort of "what if the world REALLY WAS inhabited by all these super-people, etc etc. What would it actually be like?". A sort of gritty realism. Somtimes very gritty. You'll see when/if you read it.

you have to see sin city
put your feet up with some beers and watch the extras too
i was surprised how good it was
.......and how violent it was

really liked that alias comic
damn I want to read more of that, how many in the series?

its more my type of thing
like 'the dark night returns', when the seedy filthy underbelly is exposed
the line between good and evil is very hard to define
