In 1999 our rehearsal room was robbed of a bike, a Peavey combo and some pedals. It's so frustrating... Luckily you got your stuff back, we never saw any of that stuff again.

getting rehearsal spaces ransacked by someone seems pretty common these days.

our rehearsal space was broken into once... regardless of the 3 locked doors and several security cameras.

luckily, the burglars were some pathetic low-ass junkies that were looking for something to fund their next fix, so they only took an xbox 360 with all the controllers and games, leaving the necessary stuff untouched. they were identified by the landlord as they had kept a storage space in the building before. we never ended up getting the stuff back.

Sorry to hear about your loss, hopefully you have insurance and can get back some replacement value. I've never had my house broken into, but I have had a car stolen and I've been robber at gun point back when I was managing a restaurant in my younger days (two separate incidents).

Fortunately my car was recovered two days later two states away in NJ, and the guy that robbed the restaurant was caught a few weeks after the robbery while robbing another store. They found the restaurant cash bags back in his apartment that we had put the deposits in before he robbed us so they were able to link him to the robbery we had at the restaurant. So in both cases at least some justice occurred even though it still sucked, I got my car back with minimal damage and at least the guy that robbed us did some time.

Same thing happened in our complex about 6 years back but luckily not to us in particular. Our room's door was this shitty little hollow house door and when we moved in there I wtf'd to the owner and he eventually put a better door on.

Is your rehearsal space @ Helsinki, Malmi (Rytmiverstas Oy)? Those doors totally suck there and people always leave them open, so it's no wonder random junkies try to break in.

Nonniin, samassa rakennuksessa on itte tullu treenailtua parissa eri huoneessa 1,5 vuotta Muistaakseni tuossa perusneliöhinta on 17e/m2, mikä on pääkaupunkiseudun alhaisimpia. Huoneissa on kyllä ihan paskat ilmanvaihtosysteemit yms. seinät vuotaa ääntä läpi reippaasti, mutta eipä itselläni muuten ole ollut valittamista.
