I've recorded my mesa!

A sm57 off center on the upper right cone of my 1960 loaded with V30's.
Pre: just the ones on digi002
Drums: Ez drummer, I replaced the snare with a sample 50/50 (andy's one).
Kick the same, blended andy's sample, I pitch-shitfed andy's one to give more low end/fat tone.
Listening now to the guitars, I can say they're heavy as fuck, but you know the got a phasey sound/roomy reverb.
I had to place my cab in the wardrobe cause it was the only way to push it over the top without killing the ears of my neighbours and have a compressed sound out of the cab :p
Anyway I used my hotplate to tame the volume a little bit, I set it to -12db!
Settings
Master presence 12 'o clock
Presence 12.30 'o clock
Bass 12 'o clock
Mid 9 'o clock
High 11.30

Finally I've made a decent clip of my dual rectifier!
here's the clip.
That's a Killswitch Engage cover, last riff is full of mistakes don't pay attention to that shit please :p, didn't have the time to study this song.
Let me know what you think tone wise!!

This is very good!!!

But...

...manca il bassssooooooooooh!

(translated: the bass guitar's missiiiiiiiing!)

:loco:

Sounds pretty decent for a non o/d'ed dual rectifier, doesnt sound as loose as my 3 channel.

No I used a maxon OD9!
It's a two channel rectifier, and it's more tighter than the 3 channel.
If you want a tight sound out of a three channel try a H&K warp 7 cab, they're sold out now, but if you can find one (they're dirty cheap) those cabs are really tight compared to a mesa rectifier cab.
Mesa cab sounds better, but it's a little bit sloppier.
