part 2 is cool, i'm having a bad day so it was cute to see the part about my dad teaching me to dance to the rolling stones. rad.
 
Husker Du - New Day Rising

It's a great album, but I have to slide with the majority and go for Zen Arcade. The songs are not as strong one by one as in NDR but Zen Arcade is a holistic effort. It really really resonates in me, at least, some concepts that I cannot examine critically. I have to surrender to it, every time.

Metal Circus is also very strong. I guess you're right, any Husker Du record could be it. But New Day Rising was the 'record after the record' and it could be taken into any direction and it still wouldn't be enough in my head.
