Hmm, I note a complete and total lack of chain-saws in this band.


Sadly, Jesse James Dupree of JackYl is the most famous graduate* of my high-school in Georgia.

You should be proud. Jackyl is a FUN band and a great live act. Sure they are a little rough around the edges for your typical prog or power fan, but Jesse James Dupree, at least back fifteen years ago when I saw them sounded EXACTLY like he does on disc. Cutting up bar stools and playing a solos with the chain saw kicks ass as well. They are one of a kind.

This band is just frickin' killer. Vague Visions and A Safe Look In Mirrors are buy or die releases.

Vague Visions is what I have always called a mix between Iron Maiden and Van Halen.
