Jackson Guitar Prices Inflating?

I was on musicians friend and I saw some jacksons that were like 200 bux more then before. The RR3 used to be like 524,but now 699. Is this a dif guitar cause it says new.

They've upgraded the hardware, too - the trem's made out of better steel. I think there's some other changes, but I can't remember exactly what. There' some new models, too, like the DK-2M.

Im gunna be a life-guard over the summer to get some cash and mabye buy this guitar with a hardshell cause my guitar is fucked up.You think i should?
