In Northern Ireland the places we went had pints for 2 pounds (under 4.50) so i was drinking for cheaper there than here with a hilariously shitty currency

yeah. I like going to this one pub (shitty neighbourhood)... $9 pitchers of canadian. You get about 5-6 pints out of one of those... and its not watered down.
