JDI or J48

Alright I'm in need of a DI box for some re amping. All my guitars use passive pickups and as far as cabling goes I have quite a bit. 18ft -> ts9 -> 6in -> ISP -> 10ft.

What do you guys recommend? Radial JDI (passive) or Radial J48 (active).

It's going to be mainly for guitar but I'd like to be able to do bass as well.

there was a DI shootout a while ago where they compared those 2 and the JDI came out on bottom and J48 came second I think (out of 5 DI's) so I'd say the J48, I use one and love it.
You know you need a re-amp box aswell to reamp?

Yeah I have a ProRMP but I've just been using other peoples DIs for a while. I'd like to make my own.
